Have you ever experienced frustration when trying to scale down your designs in Figma? I have often felt this frustration, and often took large amounts of time to make sure my scaled-down designs were perfected.

Recently, I came across a Figma game changer, and to be blatantly honest, it takes a level of humility to admit to this, mostly because I feel the majority of the tips and tricks I share are basic, and everyone already knows about them.

However, I am also aware that if I did not know about this, then there are most likely others who are unaware. I try to stay mindful of the imposter's voice inside my head and celebrate the designer that I am today.

This tool allows you to fully scale down or up any layers of your choice.

Gone are the days when I would spend seemingly infinite amounts of time sizing individual elements only to realize I had missed something.

From Figma:

I am curious, are there any tricks you have come across that have saved you inordinate amounts of time? I would love to hear about them regardless of how “known” you imagine they might be. Remember being a designer does not mean you have to know everything, just that you are willing to learn.
